I love sci-fi, and Babylon 5 is one of my favourites.
But when life becomes like sci-fi, I get worried. The political intrigue in B5 is now looking like a reality across the world.
Were the Shadows inspiration to the Taliban? What of the the bizarre zealots that preferred to let their child die despite Dr. Stephen Franklin’s insistence he could save the child? Have they become the religious rhetoric of the three major worldly religions? Damned if you do, damned if you don’t?
Tomorrow, 21 May, 2011. Is it the end of the world as we know it? Or simply the end? Or more mumbo jumbo from zealots?
