"What do you think you are doing?" the man behind the counter said.
"Did you hear me?"
"Yeah, I heard you. I'm hiding, okay?" the young woman said.
"Well, unless you are here to buy something, you are going to have to leave. I won't have your sort in my shop."
She looked him in the eye, and then glanced at the door on the other side of the shop. If I go out there, they'll have me. "Shit, shit, shit"
"Look girl, get out of my shop; get out now!" Taking a step forward "Or I'll drag you out"
"Mate, if I go out there, they'll hurt me, they really will"
"Do you want me to call the police? Because if you don't leave now, I will."
"No, they are as bad as them. Don't let them get me; hide me. They'll be here soon. Please?" Her wide eyes pleaded with him. "C'mon mate, help me out?"
"Just leave okay! I don't need this shit. Get outta here now!"
The shopkeeper watched a man walk in and across the shop to the girl. What the hell is this? Britomart station? It's supposed to be a quiet Sunday for Christ sake.
"Shit, shit, shit" The girl looked around the shop franticly. "Get away, they'll kill me!"
The man put his arm under the girls shoulder, and lifted her to her feet, leading her off.
Who the hell was that? Is she gonna be all right? "Get out of my shop, and don't come back!" The door was shut, and they were gone.
