| The Poison Legacy | |
The legacy of Cyanoacrylate poisoning continues.
Close to 20 years ago, working in a factory putting plastic extrusion together with "super glue" (also known as Cyanoacrylate Fuming method), my body absorbed high levels of the chemical through the skin and respiratory system.
In the past it has resulted in skin blistering, mood swings, loss of appetite, fatigue, aching muscles and even sensitivity to other substances such as intolerance to shellfish.
Today, however, it's the fatigue and mood swings.
Luckily I went to a naturopath a few years back, who identified what dozens of doctors over the years could not - chemical poisoning.
Since then the symptoms have been reduced to what it is like today, with the odd outbreak of blistering skin when stressed, which the last major one being the week before my wedding!
Got the symptoms above? Worked with Cyanoacrylate? Get help - now. It does not go away on its own.
Feel free to contact me if you want more information about my experiences.
