Take a second look at what appears to be someone's "good luck." You'll find not luck but preparation, planning, and success-producing thinking....

Garth Gadsby
A $3000 fine and a firearms conviction.

Why oh why was he convicted? The scumbags that kept robbing him and his neighbors knew they were never going to get caught by the police.

The community had had enough. They saw an opportunity, and they went for it.

Garth Gadsby shot out the tires, while someone else was driving. The community then proceeded to catch the fleeing burglars.

What has happened to New Zealand that this situation even had the possibility of happening? Where has law, order and common sense gone?

The man should have been given a public commendation for service to the community.
